  Please join Mark Hickey, CoStar’s New England Market Economist, for a presentation on the state of the New England real estate market during this unprecedented time of the Covid-19 pandemic. Mark will use CoStar’s data to educate and update attending IREM members on current regional information for the commercial, retail, and multifamily spaces in MA, NH, ME and RI. 

Mark Hickey is a Real Estate Economist with the CoStar Group, the leading provider of data and analytics to the commercial real estate industry. He has been with the firm for almost 15 years and focuses on the analysis of market trends in Boston and greater New England. Mark has been quoted about commercial real estate markets in major metropolitan newspapers and national media, including the Boston Business Journal, the Boston Globe, and the Wall Street Journal. Prior to joining CoStar, he spent 10 years working in financial services for some of the nation’s leading investment banks. Mark received his B.S. in Finance and Economics from the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University and an M.B.A. from the Carroll Graduate School of Management at Boston College.

Todd Galvin is a Real Estate Analyst with the CoStar Group. In his role, he identifies analytical trends throughout Boston and greater New England. He is responsible for writing, forecasting, and maintaining CoStar’s market and submarket reports across all commercial property types. In addition, he works with clients to identify market trends, opportunities, and risks. Todd received a Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Economics from the University of Lynchburg and has been working with CoStar for four years.
